Graduate Program
Graduation is an important milestone, but lasting transformation continues long after the program ends. After completing our year-long discipleship and recovery program, men and women can take the next step in their journey through our Graduate Program. With a solid foundation in God’s Word and an understanding of what it means to live as a new creation in Christ, graduates receive continued support and accountability as they work toward greater independence.
The program is built around several key goals:
Spiritual Goals
Graduates are encouraged to continue growing in their faith through active involvement in a local church, weekly accountability groups, and ongoing discipleship with volunteers and ministry staff.
As they grow, graduates also have opportunities to mentor men and women in our shelter and Life Transformation Programs, developing as spiritual leaders who can encourage others and point them to Christ.
Financial Goals
Graduates continue building toward independence through quarterly financial management classes focused on biblical stewardship and practical money management.
They learn to create and follow a budget, reduce debt, save for the future, and apply biblical principles to their finances.
Employment Readiness
Graduates receive support as they pursue stable, full-time employment and greater independence.
We help them build resumes, strengthen interview skills, find opportunities, and navigate the job application process.
Education and Training
Graduates have opportunities to further their education and develop valuable career skills through partnerships with organizations such as KTECH, Calhoun Community College, and Drake State.
These partnerships provide pathways to GED completion, CDL training, technical certifications, and other skills that can lead to greater employment opportunities.
