Downtown Rescue Mission Position
Manager
Are you looking for something that is more than just a paycheck? Are you interested in being a part of something more? The Downtown Rescue Mission Thrift Stores are hiring smiling, energetic, Assistant Managers! Your job with us would include handling daily operations, maintaining accurate paperwork, organizing and maintaining sales floor merchandise and displays, assisting the manager in all duties while following DRM procedure and policies, as well as some other duties as assigned. You would use initiative, creativity, and Biblical principles to lead, guide, and direct your staff in a Christian environment. Join our team that gives customers that Christian feel and help us to make our stores more successful.
Hours: Full-time, closed Sunday
Benefits: Insurance and benefits package, paid vacation, paid sick leave, paid and recognized holidays
Physical Demands: You will be regularly required to stand, bend, walk, and lift up to 30 lbs. unassisted
Requirements: Associates degree (preferred), general computer skills (excel, word, etc.) 2 years retail and 2 years supervisory experience, must be able to work any shift from 7:30 am-7:30 pm Monday – Saturday

Driver / Processor
Pay: From $14.00 per hour
Vibrant Christian Ministries Non-profit thrift store is hiring IMMEDIATELY for a Full-Time Truck Driver, 40 HOURS PER WEEK, 3 PAID HOLIDAYS, 3 PAID VACATION DAYS.
Drive a truck for pickups and deliveries. Load/unload all deliveries and donations. Work on the dock when not driving and other duties as required. Provide receipts to donors. Maintain delivery and pick-up records. Follow all safety and lifting procedures. Must be able to sit and stand for long periods of time and lift 50 lbs unassisted; ability to move large appliances, large furniture, and boxes; ability to work varied hours and days as business dictates. Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.

We’re seeking a dedicated and reliable Food Truck Driver to support our main campus, picking up and delivering donated food from community partners. The driver will support food service operations and special events.
This full-time position offers a comprehensive benefits package, including excellent insurance, and plays a vital role in ensuring meals reach individuals and families in need.
Position Summary:
The Food Truck Driver is responsible for the safe and timely pickup and delivery of donated food from grocery stores, restaurants, food banks, and other community donors. This role ensures that donations are transported, recorded, and stored properly to support our kitchen operations and outreach programs.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive the Rescue Mission’s food truck on scheduled routes to pick up and deliver food donations.
Safely load, secure, and unload food items, ensuring all items are handled with care and according to food safety guidelines.
Maintain positive, professional communication with community partners and donors.
Accurately document each pickup: include donor name, food categories, and quantities for reporting and inventory.
Keep the food truck clean and perform basic maintenance checks; report any mechanical or safety issues promptly.
Help sort, organize, and store donations upon return to our facility.
Support kitchen operations and assist with food service and special events as needed.
Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper lifting and sanitation procedures.
Represent the mission with integrity, treating all individuals with dignity and compassion.
Qualifications:
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (CDL preferred but not required).
Prior driving, delivery, or route experience preferred.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. regularly and perform physically demanding tasks.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
Commitment to serving the homeless and food-insecure populations.
Must pass a background check and drug screening.
