Retail Clothing Processor
Are you looking for something that is more than just a paycheck? Are you interested in being a part of something more? The Downtown Rescue Mission Thrift Stores are hiring smiling, energetic, Retail Clothing Processors! Your job as a Clothing Processor would be to tag and hang clothing items that are donated with speed and accuracy while striving to meet and exceed quotas, as well as some other duties as assigned. Join our team that gives customers that Christian feel and help us to make our stores more successful.
Hours: Part-time, Monday-Friday
Salary: Starting at $12.00 /hour

Fashion Retailer
Are you looking for something that is more than just a paycheck? Are you interested in being a part of something more? Your job as a Fashion Retailer would be sort, grade, and price clothing items that are donated based on style, brand, and condition with speed and accuracy while striving to meet and exceed quotas, as well as some other duties as assigned. Manager

Truck Driver

full-time security officer
POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for maintaining order and safety on the Downtown Rescue Mission Campus.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Act as the first responder to emergency situations on campus.
Assist in maintaining campus safety, security, and cleanliness of all mission property.
Be team-oriented in all actions.
Check all lights, locks & doors regularly to ensure lights are off when appropriate and access points are secure.
Communicate with Police, Fire, Emergency Medical Technicians, and staff appropriately in response to incidents.
Document issues in a timely manner with a high degree of quality.
Enforce policy and procedure in support of staff.
Exhibit a proactive continuous improvement mindset.
Facilitate security, front desk, and gate functions to ensure a safe and secure environment.
Maintain movement throughout the shift to ensure security presence is perceptible throughout the shift.
Perform tasks with a high degree of attention to detail and professionalism.
Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High School diploma or GED preferred. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and written.
Two years of military, security, or police experience, or a combination of both education and experience to meet the requirements of duties for the job is preferred.
Working knowledge of security operations, safety practices, and enforcement procedures.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to sit and stand for extended periods; reach, lifting 75 lbs.; ability to communicate; work to meet the needs of the business.
