Aleta’s first contact with the Mission was when she stayed in our Emergency Shelter for seven months before joining our Discipleship Recovery Program. She had grown up in an abusive family with parents who were often working on the road to provide for their six children. Between sex, alcohol, and drugs, she had a hole in her life that was never filled. Praise God she gave her life to Christ shortly before coming to the Mission. However, since being here, her application and knowledge of the scriptures has increased exponentially.
