Ephesians 6:18 "Pray Always..."

"We must pray upon all occasions, and as often as our own and others' necessities call us to it." Matthew Henry

Prayer is the heart beat of the Downtown Rescue Mission. Without it we die. We need our employees, volunteers, residents, donors and every Christian brother and sister to intercede to the Father on our behalf.

We believe that prayer for our ministry is vital and needed. In fact, it is what we ask most people to do for us more than anything else. Prayer is the catalyst for miracles and the foundation for our growth.

Pray Always...It is how souls are won to the Lord, finances met and ministries expanded. It is how our staff members persevere one day to another and our Board members make Godly decisions.

Will you or your church pray for us? Please put us on your prayer list. Here are some suggestions for prayer:

* Salvation of the homeless, men, women and children who don't know Jesus Christ as the Lord and Savior on our campus.
* Spiritual growth for those residents who know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.
* Strength, wisdom and patience for all our employees who work with the homeless on a daily basis.
* Finances. An effective ministry can't function properly if it is not meeting its financial obligations.
* God's will. The Downtown Rescue Mission wants to do the will of God in its planning and decision making.
* Provisions. We always need food, clothing, office equipment and furniture, vehicles and other items to help meet the needs of our ministry.
