The Downtown Rescue Mission Bargain Center is Huntsville's premier bargain center for the best in new and used merchandise. They are located at 3710 Governors Drive next to Terry's Pizza, across from the Post Office in the Family Dollar Shopping Center.

With the completion of the Sapp Shelter for Women and Children in December of 2001 plus the overall growth of the mission over the last five years it was essential for the Downtown Rescue Mission to search out new ways to generate funds which would enable them to continue to meets the needs of the homeless in Northern Alabama.

Downtown Rescue Mission: Huntsville Bargain CenterWe don't always want to knock on people's doors for a donation," states Dr. Darwin Overholt, Executive Director and Pastor. "We feel the Bargain Centers will generate the income we need to run the Mission and we don't always have to ask for handouts," Overholt adds.

The Bargain Center carries a wide selection of brand name clothing, household items, furniture, electronics, major appliances, computers and bedding. Need a donation picked up? Call the store at 532-0381 to have one of their trucks come to your home to pick up a garage sale or any other household items you would like to donate.

The Downtown Rescue Mission is fully financial accountable and invites anyone to inspect our financial records during business hours.
