women’s shelter | children’s shelter | battered women
The Sapp Shelter for women and children was opened in December of 2001. This facility provides food, clothing, shelter and education to women and children in need for both long and short-term care. There is also a separate apartment for families in need whether it is a man with young children or a mom with teenage boys.
....heart for women and children We offer assistance in many areas in our long-term care program, including case management, counseling, Bible studies, job training and life skills programs. Our goal is to care for the whole person, whether physically, spiritually or mentally, and to help them deal with the real issues in their lives that led them down the path to homelessness.
The Sapp Shelter, which can accommodate nearly 100 women and children, is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. To all who come through its doors, the Sapp Shelter is a place of safety and refuge through which we share Christ's love and compassion.
